BUBBLES

Uncle Ben and Aunt "Willy" got hang out with Finn, 5, and Casey- he's brand new! We had a great time on the fantastic scavenger hunt that Grandma set up for Finn and spent the rest of the day playing with his bubble prize!

Check out http://slings-and-things.blogspot.com/ to see more great baby slings, diaper bags, bibs and a whole lot more from Janie William's - Casey LOVES his and his mom can't say enough good things about it!

Sterling's First Sunrise

Sunrise and breakfast at the pier restaurant is a tradition with Rufus (my fantastic grandma), and I. Aunt Liz and cousin Sterling decided to join us for the early morning event this time - it was a blast.

LadyPanoply

Just opened my first Etsy shop yesterday, so go check it out! "LadyPanoply" is the name of the shop- Panoply : (pan-uh-plee) a wide-ranging and impressive array or display; special dress. If you've never experienced Etsy, it's a fantastic online venue for all things handmade and vintage. Thousands of individuals buy and sell craft supplies, pottery, stationary, dresses.... literally everything you could think of handmade. I started off with my vintage hair pieces and am working on [say it yourself] greeting card line and am hoping to get some handmade invitations on there soon!
so go check out the site, and while you're there, enjoy everyone else's! thanks for stopping in.

(say it yourself)

Ben and I started (say it yourself) just a few weeks after we got married. We received the average amount of cheesy wedding cards and agreed that it was outrageous that people would pay $5.00 for something they didn't even come up with. We even got a few repeats.
So one day I started sewing buttons on cards and he pulled out his 1970's Smith Corona type-writer. (say it yourself) is a unique venue for creative and personal expression, giving the head-start that most people need, but leaving room for personalization and one-of-a-kind products. We're in the process of taking them to different retailers and hoping to get them in stores soon. Tell all your friends!

a lot of the buttons we use are antique that we've just picked up here and there.
the card is held together by the tan string - just unwind a find a sweet little message inside! the inside of this card is seen directly below it.
